Bio

I am a Chicago based artist, with a focus on film and music. I started playing music at the age of four. Art and music have always been a part of my life and I don't ever see that changing. It's been my aspiration to include every aspect of creativity from drawing to sculpture in every work that I create.

 

Statement

I have always been inspired by previous generations of work, particularly the 60s and 70s. My ambition is to bring back virtues of the past and articulate the current value that it holds. My focus as an artist has never been what is viral or popular, but what is unique to my personality. Feeling has always been a part of my songwriting. If I have felt strongly about something, I always felt obliged to write a song about it. The emotions that play through life have been the most valuable and deepest of wells to constantly draw from. Abstraction of reality, such as landscape, persona, objects or people has been my bread and butter throughout my creative works.
