Hope Salmanoff

Hope grew up in the Chicago area and earned a BFA from the University of Illinois. After working many years as a graphic designer and C.P.A., she left the workforce and returned to her artistic aspirations. She studied drawing and painting at the Evanston Art Center. She studied printmaking and oil painting at the North Shore Art League in Winnetka.

"My imagery is a colorful and whimsical interpretation of commonplace themes of people, architecture and interiors or complete flights of fancy. I’m not interested in producing an accurate reproduction of a scene and correct perspective is only a suggestion. I create art as I see it."
