Jimi Paszkiewicz's "Organic" Show Debuts February 4

AIR Studio + Gallery is pleased to announce a new gallery show, "Organic," featuring an installation of sculptures and paintings by talented young artist, Jimi Paszkiewicz. Jimi's show "Organic" gives us a glimpse of what it looks like to live inside an artist’s subconscious; piecing elements together to create something organic, free of the constraint of boundaries. This installation is a representation of how organic growth can create beauty if left to its own devices. Using upcycled materials, Jimi has created an exciting new way to present his work. The show runs February 4-25, 2023 at AIR Gallery, 348 Tudor Court, Glencoe.

About Jimi

Jimi Paszkiewicz is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago who has been working since 2017. His practice involves a combination of silkscreening, photography, videography, and various methods of painting and drawing. Instinct and the subconscious play major roles in his work, facilitated by his abstract and gestural painting style, as well as an exploration of consumerist culture through his playful use of recognizable logos and branding. Jimi’s work seeks to raise questions about what delineates legitimacy, and highlight the importance of influences in the making of art.

AIR (Artists-in-Residence) Studio + Gallery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit artist incubator located in Glencoe, Illinois. Our community of artist members are provided studio space to work, a gallery to display their art, learning and networking opportunities, camaraderie and support.
